Wakefield will host hot air pilots September 21, 22, 23, 2018 to fly our skies for the 15th year! Friday night features a Legion steak feed, while one of Saturday’s big draws is the BBQ Bash coordinated by Wakefield’s Youth Rec group.  A color run, omelet feed, craft & food vendors, kids activities (pony rides, face painting, chalk walks, cornhole, sand search, Amazing Tour ‘d Wakefield bike ride, dunk tank), car shine and show, parade, wings-eating at the BBQ Bash/Beer Garden, adult cornhole, with a Firemen’s Dance featuring AFTER MIDNIGHT, a classic rock and country band, will keep guests hopping on Saturday. Lift-offs are weather dependent and planned for Fri. and Sat. late afternoons and Sat. and Sun. mornings. A night glow is planned for dusk on Saturday.
